Windows
There are two different types of hung windows, double hung and single hung. In both cases, this type of window is constructed with two sashes mounted one above the other. In the case of the double hung window, both sashes glide up and down and tilt into the room for easy cleaning. In the case of the single hung window, the top sash is fixed in place and only the bottom sash moves.

The old window was removed and the new window installed in less than an hour. Both the interior and exterior finishes look fantastic. I have noticed that I don't hear as much street noise now with the new window. Can't wait for the warm weather to be able to open the windows. Read less

There was some minor damage to one of the units during shipping, that would not have been noticed by me the homeowner.
